It’s been a tough start for Michela Cerruti and Team Romeo Ferraris at Monza, in the first round of the 2013 FIA European F.3 Series. Both the team and the driver struggled in getting the right confidence with their Mercedes-powered Dallara F312 as they lined-up for their championship debut.
In the two qualifying sessions, Michela ended up at the bottom of the charts and, as a consequence, the weekend’s three races will become more like an additional test to gain more tracktime. Race 1 is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 followed by Race 2 (10:20) and Race 3 (16:05) on Sunday.

“It’s a really tough situation to begin with. Both the team and I struggled in getting in-touch with the car and the combination of these struggles produced today’s quite disappointing results. Definitely we need some straightline speed and there’s a lot of work ahead. We haven’t set true goals for the races except to do our best and find a direction for us to follow“.
